$47.50 (was $90) at All Saints

In my crazy travelings from NYC to Charlottesville to Puerto Rico and back, I missed out on something insanely important: All Saints opened in Soho. (Ruth La Perla wrote it up today in the NYTimes. And that’s where I borrowed the image from.) I have a packed weekend: a wedding, a christening, and, of course, a softball game. But I’ll try to squeeze in a visit on Saturday between yoga and steaming my Thakoon gown for Joe & Betsy’s big night. I just want to touch these studded booties with my own two hands.

PC never went through one of those rebellious stages where she wore Doc Martens and torn-up black stockings. She never had safety pins holding her jeans together or wore black eye-makeup with complete abandon, so maybe that’s why now she can’t help but love that goth is coming back, but in a new grown-up-friendly style. Hence her obsession with All Saints, a British store that hopped the pond last year and now has outlets in Miami, LA, and, (coming soon!) Soho. The clothes are this amazing mix of goth and great tailoring. The dress PC bought in their Miami store would almost look stolen from a Tim Burton set with its bustled and draped skirt except that the top has a perfect cut that highlights your collarbone and holds tight to your ribcage making you look sultry and sweet all at once. The final verdict: Their dresses make you look uber-hot, but be sure to pair with girlie heels and accessories to avoid looking like an extra from the Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

And to make the obsession even more intense, they just teamed up with New York artist Laurie Lipton to make these t-shirts, which are also a little gothic chic. Not to mention PC is a sucker for skulls.
