My right knee has suffered an unfortunate string of events. It began in Puerto Rico when I grazed it on a rock while swimming out to a reef. Then I tripped running down the Billyburg bridge, cause I’m real coordinated like that, and put another nice cut on it. Then on Sunday, in one of my rare moments as a decent softball player, I slid back into 1st base to avoid getting out and added one more nice scab and a bruise. Now it looks like a war zone.
So my hopes of wearing any cute, short summer dresses are pretty much dead. Back to the maxi dress.

So the sports bras arrived and I have to say I’m impressed. For $10—this is an impressive piece of equipment. We’ll see how it holds up in the long run (ha, get it, long run?). Oh well, anyway, it has some features that aren’t in the description that I think deserve a shout-out. First, bottom band is just straight spandex, not cotton coverage, which really makes it fit tight and feel secure.
Second, the panel between your shoulder blades is made of mesh, adding a really nice level of breathability and it looks cool.
