It’s day 2 of Stella’s line for Gap Kids actually being on the racks. As an adult, PC feels cheated, if only she had shorter arms and legs, maybe she could have a perfect gingham cropped jacket too. Well, at least PC can ride roller coasters—take that toddlers!

Here are the highlights:

Anchor Sweater Dress $78

Superhero Grpahic Tee $28

Piped Dress $52

Olivia Hoodie $48

Horse Graphic Tee $28

Gingham Jacket $68

PC did a little raindance yesterday with two positive results:

1. The torrential downpour came to a halt.

2. She couldn’t stop staring at tribal prints—they’re so hot right now (unlike the weather!).

Henrik Vibskov Cardigan at Aloha Rag $228 (was $570)

Black Crane Tank Top at Aloha Rag $44

Tribal Scarf at Oak $48

Jesse Williams Dress at Edge of Urge $89

$28 at Oak

The classic thin stripe `a la Audrey Hepburn is the new staple this season. Wear it with your favorite pair of dark skinny pants for a chic weekend look or mix it with a floral skirt and a big belt for a funky office look.

Stripe dress at Urban Outfitters $48

Stripe Pocket Tee at Forever 21 $14.80

Stripe Organic Tee at Nordstroms $38

Striped Tie Shirt at TopShop $28

$40 at Dream in Plastic

It’s rainy and cold and Spring went back into hiding. These peep-toe wedge booties might just lure her back out.

$125 at Need Supply Co (shipping on 5/15)

PC likes heavy metal, but not the kind you headbang too—the kind you strap on like a suit of fashion armor. Big, chunky mixed chain necklaces truly rock PC’s world and here are four that make her a hardcore fan:

$195 at J.Crew

J.Crew continues their foray into edgy fashion in this jewelry collab with designer Dana Lorenz aka Fenton/Fallon. Check the heavy chains and dripping needles.

$25.20 at Kohl’s

From Vera Wang’s affordable line—this necklace adds a rocker look to any LBD.

$170 at Net-A-Porter

Giles & Brothers by Philip Crangi has been on the chain gang for a while now, putting out consistently cool designs that look punk, but still manage to be pretty.

$19.80 at Forever 21

For a real extreme look, pair a longer mixed metal necklace (like the one above) with a few shorter chains. But keep your top simple like a black tank top or white tee. Let the necklace take center stage—the Axle to your Slash—get it?

$139 at Barney’s

PC is officially surrounded. PC will come out with her hands full! She will drop her credit card. She will remain silent—ok, that’s BS, because there’s no doubt she’ll be cooing, “Oooooh. That is sooo precious, precious, precious.” Cause that’s the effect baby and a-little-bigger-than-baby clothes have on her. And since about 3/4 of her friends are either hauling around newborns or about to pop out a fresh one, she can’t stop looking at the darling little fashion.

And a few stores are more arresting than others lately. The two that immediately come to mind are Bundle on Thompson Street in Soho (see pic up there—how amazing is that teeny weeny trenchcoat ($135)!?). And Sweet William on N. 6th in Williamsburg (see gingham jumpsuit ($48) that PC wants in her size darnit!). These two stand outs aren’t just trying to sell you over-priced onesies with funny slogans, but truly beautiful stuff. Another PC favorite for baby gear is a big label that has, thank you Sweet Baby Jesus, a sale shop on Grand Street in Williamsburg, Paul Smith, where PC picked up a pink onesie there that said “Happy Bunny” on the back (see it in action below).

But if PC’s going to get started on great baby clothes—a few other places deserve a shout out.

Babesta is a cute Tribeca baby shop that has just that right mix of hipster chic and punk (see NPR baby tee ($28)—cause you gotta get ‘em addicted to Ira Glass early). If you’re looking for anti-the-man slogans, a Tokidoki bib, or a darling Paul Frank sweatshirt—this is your place. Also, if you need it fast, they same day deliver in their neighborhood.

Not exactly a surprise, but it does deserve a mention. Baby Gap has seriously stepped it up a notch. As evidence, this patchwork patterned romper ($35) that seems straight out of a Chloe for Kids sketch book. Stella McCartney did just do a collab with Gap Kids, so maybe this design was left behind.

Last, Bean New York has adorable city-centric shirts, plus affordable organic clothing that PC just dies for. If she had the money honey, all her little fake nieces and nephews would be wearing this organic tee ($30) that says what their hearts really think…. And just cause PC feels like she put up too many t-shirts—here’s an organic Kate Quinn sacque ($30):

$146.99 (were $210) at Saks
